I don’t know about you, but I am loving what I’m seeing when it comes to this year’s hair trends: Natural hair. Of course, it’s been slowly happening for the last few years but 2018 is hair lol I mean here. Everyone is starting to change the way companies are utilizing their inventory. And when I mean everyone I really mean black folks. For the longest beauty brands have catered to the white demographic not realizing that there is a high demand in the black community for products specifically for us. Black hair/ curly hair requires lots of moisture but the products were designed to clean hair of its oils. Fine hair or Caucasian hair tend to be weighed down by oils so they need those stripping products. Can you say if you can’t find it, create it! Black Kings and Queens have been going into the beauty business and making the moisturizing products we need and love. Yeah, our dollars hold weight!
