Yesterday evening, February 8, 2018, I was invited to share my book Poetry Diaries and my expertise with Brooklyn Technical high school book club students. I was honored by the warmth and compliments given.
I was even told they loved my style! Coming from High school students is everything. Anyway, as I sat there before being introduced I listened and watched each member pour out in figurative language so beautifully.
President of the book club is a young Queen, Gäelle Alcindor. Very great organization and grace. After I presented and answered questions, I was surprised with a gift. I shall cherish this moment for all of my years.
