Since I could remember I have been picking out great bundles for celebrity stylists, local celebrities and even the founder of Indique Hair. So when it comes to picking out the right bundle that doesn’t shed, tangle and dry up, I am the go to girl! There are some steps to test hair to make sure it won’t be that problem hair we all hate to have; Checking Steps:
1) Running your fingers through the bundle- Some places don’t allow you to run your hands through the hair like ” Pretty Proper Hair” saying that it will mess with the curl pattern but I think it’s because you will spot the shedding. If its human hair it should matter what the pattern looks like since it will be styled. A good place that allows you to go through almost all their collections is partner’s Indique Hair
2) Compare textures- Seeing more than one bundle at the same time to compare is a sure way to make the right decision. The best textures are the luxurious silky looking bundles. Trust me it will last for years! (Some people get discourages because it won’t match their own texture of hair but that is not true it dulls down and you can add product to blend.
3) Color- Yes it’s natural so it will be in the natural color which is usually an off black. If you are going to color you hair lighter it is always best to find bundles that are a lighter shade of brown, this helps keep the integrity of the hair event after the lightening process. And if you are going darker than yes get the darker pieces (saves product)
4) Look For Synthetic- Keep an eye out for Synthetic fibers, how? well, if you look closely and see really thick pieces mixed in with the hair and they are darker or even reddish than chances are it’s not all human. If you get this bundle you will have issues with coloring and tangling.
